Hospira Bacteriostatic water is sterile non-pyrogenic water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9mg/mL), which is added as a bacteriostatic preservative. This preparation of sterile water and benzyl alcohol (BnOH) allows repeated withdrawals to be made from a single 30ml plastic vial.

We have had to increase the price of Hospira Products due to a huge price increase by Hospira, we have kept the increase as small as possible and have reduced our profit margin to keep the Hospira Water as affordable as we can.
